State Government Relations

State Government Relations

The Government Relations office works with members of Ohio's General Assembly and their staff to obtain support for OARDC and OSU Extension. In addition, we work with other state-level public officials to effectively serve Ohio citizens. OARDC and OSU Extension are two separate line items in the Ohio Board of Regents budget.

The State Extension Advisory Committee and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center Advisory Committee are key partners in this work for the college. These two organizations share the common goal of advocating and promoting research and extension programs that directly affect Ohio's economy, environment, and the well-being of its citizens.
