The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences is committed to relevance--providing students the education and experiences they need to succeed in the work force; solving problems facing Ohioans and the state's $37 billion agricultural industry through research; and empowering people to reach their goals--personal, business, financial, community and family -- through OSU Extension education. Advisory committees are critical partmers in helping us assure we are relevant. They are our eyes and ears across the state, across the spectrum of people in Ohio. They provide insight into emerging needs of Ohio's citizens, help us set priorities so we deliver the products that are most important and serve as volunteer advocates to public officails and other stakeholders. Our state-wide committees are featured here, but each Ohio county has at least one advisory committee to serve the same function on the local level.
