CFAES Facilities/Wooster Campus Updates

July 18, 2017

As the Congressional Assistant's Tour is about a month away, we wanted to make all aware of some new things happening around Ohio State ATI that visitors may find pertinent.

From Michelle Ball, FAES Communications Director:

This month, the college will begin the design of one of its facility priorities: the new science building in Wooster.  The project will provide a new home for entomology research in Wooster, new multipurpose teaching labs for Ohio State ATI, and shared multifunction rooms for teaching and presentations.  This project also will include new or renovated food service space for improved campus life on the Wooster Campus as well as significant infrastructure improvements.  Total project estimate is currently indicated at $33.5 million.

Ball also said following completion of the new building, the current entomology location, Thorne Hall, will be demolished. For more from her post regarding CFAES facilities, click here

For those congressional legislative assistants coming to meet Ohio in August, the Wooster campus which assistants will visit has updated their campus map to reflect new changes.
